ERA's Sept quarter output jumps

Uranium miner Energy Resources of Australia has posted a 42 per cent jump in September quarter uranium oxide production to 638 tonnes.

Energy Resources of Australia has produced 638 tonnes of uranium oxide in the three months to September 30, a 42 per cent jump on the June quarter, when output was impacted by scheduled mill maintenance.

The company says all ore milled was taken from existing stockpiles and no exploration was conducted during the quarter.

The Rio Tinto-owned uranium miner said it has also signed a revised sales and marketing agreement with the parent group which fixes's ERA's allocation of existing contracts, providing greater certainty over its future revenue.
