Ethiopian Israelis protest against 'police brutality and discrimination'

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has met members of Israel's Ethiopian community after demonstrations alleging police brutality and widespread discrimination.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has met members of Israel's Ethiopian community after demonstrations alleging police brutality and widespread discrimination.

The meeting was announced after thousands of Ethiopian Israeli demonstrators clashed with police at a rally in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Ben Hartman is a journalist with the Jerusalem Post and was at the protests.

He spoke to Santilla Chingaipe.
