European stocks climb at open

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index has risen 0.19 per cent to 6,604.18 point at Tuesday's open.

Europe's main stock markets have advanced at the start of trading, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index rising 0.19 per cent to 6,604.18 points.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.53 per cent to 9,338.80 points and in Paris the CAC 40 increased by 0.37 per cent to 4,252.89 compared with Monday's closing values.
