European stocks rise at open

Frankfurt's DAX 30 grew 0.19 per cent to 9,674.80 points and in Paris the CAC 40 rose 17 per cent to 4,342.41.

Europe's main stock markets climbed at the start of trading, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.13 per cent to 6,744.61 points.
