Ex-AFL fitness guru Stephen Schwerdt has joined South Australia's long-suffering Redbacks.
Schwerdt, who has spent 16 AFL seasons as a fitness coach, is the Redbacks' new physical performance manager.
The Redbacks are still seeking a head coach to replace Darren Berry, who departed after SA's fifth Sheffield Shield wooden spoon in six years.
