Extended interview: City Index's Peter Esho on ANZ

ANZ has posted a record full-yearprofit of $5.7 billion, up 6 per cent.

It saw growth in retail market share, along with commercial customer numbers, but it's the company's successful Asian expansion which is helping it to deliver dividends.

The company is also ahead in its whole funding arrangements which may benefit its customers next year.
