Family airlifted following NT crash

Three members of a family of six was airlifted to hospital after their car rolled in the Litchfield National Park in the Northern Territory.

A mother and her two sons have been airlifted to Royal Darwin Hospital after their car with three other family members, crashed in the Litchfield National Park.

The NT CareFlight Rescue Helicopter team treated the family, including the father, another son and their daughter, before transferring the mother and two boys about 6.30pm on Sunday.

All the passengers able to climb free from the 4WD after it rolled and were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital.
