An Adelaide man says he's still waiting to hear from his brother, who is believed to have been trekking through part of Nepal struck by the earthquake on April 23.

Brett White says in early April, his brother Tyronne told him via a Facebook message that he was setting out on a three-week trek between Kathmandu and the Chinese border.

Brett says it's believed Tyronne reached the Langtang region, which was badly hit by the quake.

He has told Kristina Kukolja his 44-year-old brother hasn't been heard from since.
