Sprint king Usain Bolt is ready to run against long distance star Mo Farah in a one-off charity race, with Bolt preferring the yet to be determined distance to be not more than 600 metres.
The 5000m and 10,000m Olympic champion Farah of Britain challenged the Jamaican two-times 100m and 200m gold medallist Bolt in an interview with Sky Sports broadcast on Monday.
"It would be great to be able to do a distance where people vote in, proper athletics fans, on what distance would be suitable," Farah said.
"Are you up for that? Come on, you've got to do it," Farah said.
Farah suggested a distance of 600m or 800m, and Bolt accepted after seeing the interview.
"That sounds fun. It's going to be hard but it's all about charity so it's fun and enjoyment. I'm up for anything, anything's possible," he said.
Bolt named a race over 800m (or 1500m) "way too far" because Farah has stamina and speed, while "600 metres I can try because I have done 600 metres in training."
