Fatherhood won't slow Cowell down

Media mogul Simon Cowell is confident he can manage work and fatherhood.

Simon Cowell will continue his role on Britain's Got Talent after he becomes a father.

The TV mogul is expecting his first child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman in a couple of weeks.

But Cowell has indicated that fatherhood won't be slowing him down.

"I'll manage," he told Britain's newspaper The Mirror.

Cowell and Silverman are reportedly expecting a son on February 28.

The 54-year-old told Parade magazine last October that he's excited about being there for his son as he grows up.

"I'm not brilliant with babies," he said. "I never know what to do.

"But [once he's older] I think I'll be a good dad in terms of advice. And then I'll get to do all the things I want to do, like go to Disneyland or Universal Studios, teach him how to drive - I love all that."
