An air and land search is under way to find a 15-year-old girl who has vanished from a small town in central Queensland.
Kaitlyn Earl-Rowe hasn't been seen or heard from since she visited a house in Clermont last Wednesday night.
Police, SES crews and a local rescue helicopter are searching the Clermont area for Kaitlyn.
Her father, Jason Earl, said the family was desperate to find their beautiful girl, whose disappearance has upset the entire town.
"We are deeply concerned for her safety and desperately need to hear she is ok," he wrote on Facebook.
"We are a small community and this is the first time something like this has ever happened here and it's not just affecting us, it is the whole town."
Mr Earl believed Kaitlyn was only carrying her school backpack and had minimal items with her before she disappeared.
She is Caucasian, 162cm tall with long straight brown hair, a slim build and green eyes.
She was last seen wearing a black dress, black tights and a black and green baseball cap with "YO!" written in green.
Anyone with information about Kaitlyn's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
