'Femme fatale' gave orders, court hears

A number of former lovers of the ex-girlfriend of murdered Melbourne gym owner Wayne Amey say she manipulated them and encouraged them to kill him.

Claims of manipulation by a "femme fatale" are expected to continue in the trial into the death of a Melbourne gym owner.

The body of Wayne Amey was found bashed, stabbed, strangled and wedged between boulders at Victoria's Mount Korong in December 2013, a week after he had been due to appear in court over a property dispute with former girlfriend Robyn Lindholm.

Crown prosecutors allege one of Lindholm's lovers, Torsten Trabert, from Reservoir, and another man, John Anthony Ryan, from Meadow Heights, were contract killers who murdered Mr Amey on Lindholm's instructions.

Both men have pleaded not guilty to the murder.

A number of her former lovers have already taken the stand this week claiming Lindholm trained them to murder her former boyfriend, Mr Amey, but they never went through with it.

The trial before Justice Lex Lasry will continue on Friday.
