Cronulla's Andrew Fifita and St George Illawarra's Tyson Frizell will both front the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night in a bid to have their respective dangerous throw and high tackle charges downgraded.

Fifita was hit with a grade-three dangerous throw charge for his tackle on Newcastle rake Adam Clydesdale in the Sharks' round-six win on Friday, but will front the judiciary seeking a lesser charge.

If Fifita is successful, he will miss two matches, but if the charge is upheld, Fifita will spend six matches on the sidelines.

Frizell has pleaded guilty to his grade-five careless high tackle charge, for his hit on Canterbury's Tim Browne in the Dragons' win on Sunday.

If Frizell is unsuccessful he will be banned for two games.

If he is successful in seeking a downgrade he likely faces a one-game suspension.

Sydney Roosters prop Sam Moa, Brisbane forward Jarrod Wallace and Gold Coast back-rower Eddy Pettybourne will each miss one match after taking early guilty pleas.
