Fifth Brothers 4 Life member charged

Another member of the Brothers 4 Life gang has been arrested for a shooting murder last year following four arrests made on Monday.

A fifth member of the Brothers 4 Life gang has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of Mahmoud Hamzy last year.

The arrest of the 22-year-old Sydney man follows those on Monday of one woman and three men.

The Marsfield man was charged with murder and will face Burwood Local Court on Tuesday.

Police will allege he is a member of the gang's Blacktown chapter and was involved with the shootings of two people in Revesby Heights in Sydney's southwest last year.

One of the victims, Mr Hamzy, was a cousin of jailed gang leader Bassam Hamzy.

He was found dead in his garage shortly after midnight on October 29, 2013.

At the time, police said at least three people had attacked him in what may have been an internal dispute among gang members.

On Monday, three men, aged 22, 29 and 32, and a 32-year-old woman were charged with murder and other offences related to Mr Hamzy's death.

Additional murder charges will be laid against the 29-year-old and 32-year-old men for their alleged role in the fatal shooting of crime figure Joe Antoun in his Strathfield home in December.
