A fifth case of measles has been confirmed at the University of Queensland, with a vaccination clinic opened to fight the spread of the infectious disease.

A vaccination clinic has been opened at a Queensland university following a fifth confirmed case of measles in the past five weeks.

The University of Queensland student is believed to have been to a number of pubs and clubs in the city last weekend.

A clinic has been set up at UQ's St Lucia Campus, with Queensland Health officials encouraging college students in particular to make sure they're vaccinated.
