Police are investigating a fierce fire that's destroyed a bedding and mattress factory at Yeerongpilly, south of Brisbane.

A fierce fire has destroyed a bedding and mattress factory on Brisbane's southside.

Police are investigating the blaze, which broke out in the Yeerongpilly shed on Saturday night, causing millions of dollars worth of damage.

It took firefighters two hours to get the inferno under control.
