The first trailer of the biopic of Grace Kelly, starring Nicole Kidman, shows an unhappy princess of Monaco caught between Hollywood and royal duty.
Warner Bros released its UK trailer for Grace Of Monaco on Friday ahead of its June 6 premiere.
In it, Kidman portrays an increasingly unhappy Kelly pining for Hollywood. The voiceover hints at Princess Grace's isolation from her family.
The trailer offers a sneak peek at intimate family moments between Kidman's Kelly and Tim Roth, who plays the Prince of Monaco.
Grace Of Monaco will open the Cannes Festival this year.
It was also slated to be released in the United States but distributor The Weinstein Company has since pulled the film from its 2014 calendar.
The change is reportedly due to a falling-out between director Olivier Dahan and Harvey Weinstein.
*Grace Of Monaco will be released in Australian cinemas on June 5.
