Flight Centre has snapped up a 25 per cent stake in France-based 3Mundi with the option to buy the remainder of the travel and technology firm.
Managing director Graham Turner said the investment would give Flight Centre, which has recently acquired corporate businesses in Germany, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden, a platform for further expansion in large and rapidly growing markets.
3Mundi operates corporate travel businesses in France and Switzerland, as well as a Barcelona-based business travel lab developing proprietary artificial intelligence technology and products for the travel industry.
