Fog has caused delays and some flight cancellations at Melbourne Airport.
Melbourne Airport spokeswoman Anna Gillett said commuters should expect delays through Tuesday afternoon as a wintry blanket of fog lingers over the metropolitan area.
"We are still in thick fog out here," she told AAP.
"As a result we will have continuing delays and there have been a number of diversions and there have been cancellations and delays as a result.
"We are expecting delays right through the afternoon."
