Founder of biotech firm steps down

Founder of Phosphagenics Harry Rosen has stepped down as an executive on Wednesday.

The founder of biotech Phosphagenics has resigned as president and director of the drug delivery company.

Harry Rosen will step down immediately, a company statement said on Wednesday afternoon.

It praised Mr Rosen for working tirelessly in many different roles, including as chief executive, and for playing a critical role in directing the group when its former boss Dr Esra Ogru was jailed in 2014 for conning the company out of $6 million.

"Mr Rosen has been dynamic in driving the Phosphagenics technology across a very broad range of opportunities which has seen the company over its 15 years of existence partner with many pharma groups both big and small," the company said in its announcement.
