Germany coach Joachim Loew on Friday named four debutants in his squad for the international friendly with Chile on Wednesday.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga, on loan at SV Hamburg, is included for the first time as are Matthias Ginter (Freiburg), Andre Hahn (Augsburg) and Shkodran Mustafi (Sampdoria).
"Shkodran Mustafi and Matthias Ginter we've viewed for the under-21s, just like Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Andre Hahn they absolutely deserved their nominations," Loew told the Germany Football Association website.
"I look forward to getting to know them and give them experience in the national team."
There are also some familiar faces coming back as Bastian Schweinsteiger and Miroslav Klose, among others, return to the squad after injury.
"Bastian is on the right track, he has recently shown that impressively at Bayern," Loew said.
"We all know how important he is for our game. He is an absolute world class player who can make the difference in Brazil." Borussia Dortmund's Kevin Grosskreutz is also recalled, having not featured for the national team since February 2011. But Mario Gomez does not feature despite returning to action for Fiorentina.
Germany face Chile in Stuttgart in the first of four friendly matches to be played before beginning the World Cup campaign. They also meet Poland, Cameroon and Armenia.
The World Cup starts for Germany with a match against Portugal on June 16. The US and Ghana make up the rest of group G.
