Four men 'guilty' of violent bashing in WA

Four Sydney men have been found guilty of bashing a Perth man over a drug debt.

Four Sydney men have been found guilty of violently bashing a Perth man who owed them cash for drugs.

Gary Visanich was found badly beaten and unconscious in Centenary Park in Bentley on November 23, 2011.

The following month, brothers Cyrill and Serj Mansour, Andy Mannah and Niraj Singh were arrested in Sydney after police listened into phone calls, searched their homes and read text messages.

They were charged with grievous bodily harm with intent to maim, disfigure or disable, and detaining with intent to gain benefit.

On Friday, a District Court jury found all four men guilty.

They will be sentenced on December 18.

A fifth man from Perth, Stanley William James Nicholls, was charged with being an accessory and was also convicted on Friday.

He drove Mr Visanich to the park where he was dumped next to rubbish bins.
