Four-year-old gets lost, scores try in rugby league match

NRL legends know how to spot new talent. When a lost four-year-old boy showed up on the field in the middle of a charity match, some of the toughest men in league were happy to play along.

It was a Legends of League State of Origin charty match featuring NRL legends like David Peachey, Shaun Berrigan and Petro Civoniceva.

But never in their long careers had they seen a four-year-old show up mid-match on the footy field. 

The young fan, Laiken Kearns, found him self right in the middle of the action when Queensland kicked deep into Blues territory.

Thrilled with the new legs and enthusiam - former Sharks player, David Peachey, decided to pass him the ball. 

Laiken managed to get past former Panthers captain Petero Civoniceva, former Raiders Hooker Shaun Berrigan and former Knights player Robbie O'Davis - who then helps him get it over the line for the try.  

He scored for the Blues, which was surprise to his mum Chloe, who says he's a Queenslander.
