France ease to routine friendly win against Bolivia

PARIS (Reuters) - World champions France geared up for this month's Euro 2020 qualifiers with a routine 2-0 victory in a friendly against Bolivia on Sunday.

Thomas Lemar and Antoine Griezmann found the back of the net in a one-sided encounter in which striker Kylian Mbappe was replaced at halftime with an ankle injury, although coach Didier Deschamps said it was 'nothing major'.

Lemar put Les Bleus ahead after five minutes with a fine lob after being set up by Griezmann at the end of a counter attack.

Lemar returned the favour two minutes before the break, as Griezmann tapped in from his cross to double the tally with his 29th international goal.

France travel to Turkey on June 8 before facing Andorra three days later as they look to cement top spot in the Euro 2020 qualifying Group H.

They are level on six points with Turkey after two wins from two games.
