France's Fofana out of Six Nations rugby

Centre Wesley Fofana is set to miss France's remaining Six Nations rugby games against Scotland and Ireland due to a broken rib.

CLERMONT-FERRAND, France, Feb 24 AFP - French centre Wesley Fofana is unlikely to play any further part in this season's Six Nations rugby championship.

Fofana suffered a broken rib in the 27-6 defeat in Wales, his club Clermont announced on Monday.

He went off in the second half of Friday night's game in Cardiff and a medical examination has confirmed the break.

Fofana is likely to be out for three to four weeks, which will keep him out of France's final Six Nations games - against Scotland in Edinburgh on March 8 and Ireland in Paris a week later.
