France's Parra ruled out for 10 weeks

France will be without halfback Morgan Parra for ten weeks, after he suffered a knee injury in their Six Nations loss to Wales on the weekend.

CLERMONT-FERRAND, France, March 2 AFP - France halfback Morgan Parra will be out for around 10 weeks with a ruptured posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

Parra was forced off in the 53rd minute of France's 20-13 defeat to Wales in the Six Nations on Saturday and underwent tests on Monday which revealed the extent of the injury.

He will now miss the rest of France's Six Nations campaign and Clermont's European Champions Cup quarter-final against Northampton on April 4.
