From PM to TV host, Rudd to be on CNN

Former prime minister Kevin Rudd has earned himself a new job - hosting an episode of CNN's international global affairs program Amanpour.

Kevin Rudd has landed himself a new gig - as a TV host.

The former prime minister is one of five special guests to each host an episode of CNN's international global affairs program Amanpour while its chief correspondent is on leave.

Mr Rudd's program will be broadcast in Australia on Saturday.
