Team Sky's Chris Froome has added to his Tour de France lead with another decisive victory in the 17th stage time trial.
Froome rode a tactically precise stage which included a bike change at the second time check, to post a nine-second victory over his nearest rival, Alberto Contador.
Contador, riding for team Saxo-Tinkoff, had earlier set the best provisional times at the two time checks and consolidated that advantage to the finish.
But as SBS cycling expert Dave McKenzie told Darren Mara, Froome's class shone through to overturn an 11-second deficit to Contador with only 12 kilometers of the short stage to go.
