Fremantle's hierarchy are breathing a sigh of relief after star midfielder Nat Fyfe declared he has no intention of leaving the AFL club.
Fyfe's decision to put contract negotiations on hold until the end of the season raised fears he could make a big-money switch to a rival club.
The West Australian will become one of the hottest players on the market if he decides to leave Fremantle, with many experts tipping he could earn close to $1 million per season elsewhere.
But the 22-year-old says he's happy at the Dockers and isn't considering a move.
"I love Freo," Fyfe told Channel 7's AFL Game Day.
"I'm a West Australian boy. I have no intentions of going anywhere."
Fremantle have also made it a priority to re-sign restricted free agent David Mundy, who is also set to attract interest from a range of Victorian clubs.
Dockers skipper Matthew Pavlich is expected to play on next year, but the future of defender Luke McPharlin remains unclear.
McPharlin is currently nursing a knee injury, and is yet to decide whether to play on into a 16th season.
The Dockers are sitting pretty in fifth spot following four wins on the trot.
Last year's grand finalists have the chance to give their percentage a vital boost when they take on the struggling Lions in Saturday night's clash at Patersons Stadium.
With McPharlin and fellow key backman Michael Johnson set to be sidelined for another month, the Dockers are hoping Alex Silvagni will be fit to take on the Lions.
