Model Gabi Grecko has been taken to hospital in an ambulance just hours after revealing her boyfriend Geoffrey Edelsten had been caught texting other women.

Grecko, 25, was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne after appearing on Channel 7's Sunrise on Friday morning.

A spokesman for Ambulance Victoria said an ambulance was called to a Melbourne address at 8am.

"A woman was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition," he told AAP.

Grecko told Sunrise she had caught Edelsten texting other women.

On Thursday she tweeted a picture of the couple with a caption: "Sometimes the one you love betrays you the most."

Grecko also retweeted a link to an email she reportedly wrote to Edelsten's ex-wife Brynne Edelsten, in which she apologised for calling her tacky.

"Your (sic) not tacky. What was tacky was my words," the Daily Mail reported Grecko as writing.

"With the upmost (sic) respect I say to you I'm sorry."

Grecko made headlines in May when snapped with the 71-year-old millionaire entrepreneur at the funeral of AFL great Tom Hafey.

It was the first public outing for the couple since Edelsten's marriage break-down.
