Geelong re-sign star trio

Geelong has extended the contracts of premiership players Mitch Duncan and Tom Lonergan, as well as Josh Caddy.

Star players Mitch Duncan, Josh Caddy and Tom Lonergan have all re-signed with Geelong in an off-season boost for the Cats.

With a year remaining on their current contracts, Duncan and Caddy have both signed three-year deals which will see them remain with the club until at least the end of 2018.

Lonergan, who also has a year remaining on his previous contract, has signed a one-year contract extension, and will remain with Geelong until at least the end of 2016.

The club's general manager of football, Steve Hocking, says the club is excited to secure the services of the three players.

"Mitch, Josh and Tom are well-liked and respected members of the club, they are great people and important to our future," he said.

"Mitch and Josh have some great years of footy ahead of them and we are glad to have secured them until the end of 2018.

"Tom's contract extension will see him remain a one-club player.

"We value his dedication and commitment to the club, to be where he is today is a testament to him as a player and person."
