Wallabies coach Michael Cheika is hopeful injured back-rowers David Pocock and Sean McMahon will be fit to face New Zealand in the final Bledisloe Cup match, but he has lost halfback Will Genia's services for the game.

Pocock (hand injury) and McMahon (ankle) have both been named in the 31-man squad for the game at Eden Park Auckland on October 22.

"There's a chance Pocock could be available for this game, McMahon probably a little less," Cheika said.

Lock Will Skelton has been recalled to the squad, but Genia is unavailable because he is required by his French club Stade Francais.

WALLABIES SQUAD: Allan Alaalatoa, Rory Arnold, Adam Coleman, Quade Cooper, Kane Douglas, Scott Fardy, Israel Folau, Bernard Foley, Nick Frisby, James Hanson, Dane Haylett-Petty, Reece Hodge, Michael Hooper, Sekope Kepu, Samu Kerevi, Tevita Kuridrani, Tolu Latu, Sean McMahon, Stephen Moore, Luke Morahan, Dean Mumm, Sefanaia Naivalu, Nick Phipps, David Pocock, Tom Robertson, Rob Simmons, Scott Sio, Will Skelton, Henry Speight, James Slipper, Lopeti Timani.
