Giants expect Magpies to hit back hard

New glamour club Collingwood have started slowly in Super Netball but Giants' star Serena Guthrie expects them to hit back hard

Giants star Serena Guthrie predicts pre-season Super Netball favourites Collingwood will strike back hard after a mediocre start to the new competition which her own club currently leads.

The Magpies are running sixth of eight teams after losing two out of three games, while the other two newcomers Giants and Lightning are the only unbeaten sides and clash on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday.

"Collingwood are a classy side and I'm sure they will be back with a vengeance towards the end of the season," said English midcourter Guthrie whose side beat the Magpies last weekend.
