Gibraltar get a clinical lesson on debut

On their international debut Gibraltar were no match for Poland, who slotted seven past the team who became a member of UEFA just last year.

Robert Lewandowski scored four goals as Gibraltar lost their first competitive football international 7-0 against Poland in Euro qualifying.

Gibraltar's football association became a member at the governing body UEFA last year.

They play home games in nearby Portugal because their own stadium is not up to UEFA standards.

Bayern Munich's Lewandowski scored in the 50th, 53rd, 86th and 90th, Kamil Grosicki had a brace and Lukasz Szukala got the other in their clash in group D, which also features world champions Germany, Ireland, Scotland, and Georgia.
