Leading Australian cyclist Shara Gillow has won her fourth Oceania time trial championship, turning the tables on national champion Felicity Wardlaw.
Gillow beat Wardlaw by 26 seconds over the 25km course on day one of the Oceania titles in Toowoomba.
Last month, Gillow finished second behind Wardlaw at the nationals after recovering from illness.
New Zealander Joe Cooper won the open men's time trial.
"It's great to take out a fourth Oceania title," said Gillow, who rode at the London Olympics.
"There are a lot of the same riders here that were at nationals so it's good to come away with the win.
"I was thrilled with my silver medal at nationals and to come back today and take out the win is just fantastic."
Gillow posted a time of 35 minutes 1.92 seconds, well up on Wardlaw's 35:28.29, while New Zealander Rita Trotman was third.
Cooper clocked 49:43.82 over a 39km course and was 14 seconds quicker than Australian Will Clarke.
The Australian Drapac team filled the minor placings, with Lachlan Norris taking third.
Time trial star Luke Durbridge could only manage eighth after mechanical trouble.
Australian Harry Carpenter won the men's under-23 title after missing out on the national championship last month by just .2 of a second.
Michael Storer (WA) and Alexandra Manly (SA) won the junior titles.
The Oceania championships continue on Saturday with the junior and elite women's road races.
