Girl, 8, critical after SA car crash

An eight-year-old girl has been critically injured after the car she was a passenger in crashed into a power pole in Adelaide's west.

An eight-year-old girl is fighting for her life after a car crashed into a power pole in Adelaide.

The accident happened about 9am on Sunday at Kidman Park in the city's west, closing Findon Rd for several hours.

The girl, a passenger in the car, was rushed to the Women's and Children's Hospital and remains there in a critical condition.

A 33-year-old woman, the driver of the car, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police want to speak to anyone with information on the crash.
