Glad PM is thinking of me: Turnbull

Malcolm Turnbull says it's good to know he is in Tony Abbott's thoughts after the Prime Minister's slip up in question time.

It was a slip of the tongue by Tony Abbott, but at least Malcolm Turnbull knows he is on the prime minister's mind.

While criticising Labor for its record on asylum seekers, Mr Abbott told question time on Thursday that "they never did a turnback, they never did a single Turnbull."

"It's good to know that I am always in his thoughts," a smiling Mr Turnbull told ABC TV on Friday.
