Australia's wrestler teen dream Jayden Lawrence has cruised through the national championships and is on his way to a spot at the Commonwealth Games.
The 19-year-old says he finds the competition relatively easy, winning the junior and senior 74kg freestyle divisions.
He won through three senior elimination matches, taking out long-term rival Jake Dornford in the final.
"We're old rivals, but I wasn't expecting to wrestle him," Lawrence told AAP.
"But I went up a weight class, and now he has as well."

He said the focus was now on a national camp in about a month, in which he would try to impress selectors to secure his ticket to Glasgow.
"After the Olympics, the Commonwealth Games was my next goal," he said.
"It's a really big deal for me."
Meanwhile, London Olympian Farzad Tarash had to withdraw from the competition, leaving brother Mehrdad to take out the 65kg division.
Beijing competitor Ali Abdo had better luck, taking out the 86kg competition, while Sydney-based Shane Parker was a surprise 57kg victor.
Unfortunately, Queensland's Deon Swart's success in the 61kg field was dampened by a rib dislocation in a subsequent match.
ACT Wrestling secretary Tom D'Ews Thomson said while the 90-strong turnout was expected, only six women went for the Canberra event.
Given there are seven funded places for female wrestlers on the Glasgow squad, he said selectors might have to draw on winners from other competitions to fill out the team.
