Glass in olives prompts product recall

Sliced black olives are a popular pizza topping, but jars of them sold in Woolworths might contain glass, prompting a product recall in NSW and WA.

Woolworths is recalling jars of olives in two states because they may contain glass.

Anyone who bought a 430g jar of Homebrand sliced black olives in NSW and Western Australia with the best before date of July 4, 2016 is being asked to return the product for a full refund.

No other states or territories are affected by the recall, the supermarket says.

Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical attention.
