Glenn Lazarus to announce pensioner policy

Senator Glenn Lazarus has announced his stance on several fronts and will now unveil his plan for pensioners.

Senator Glenn Lazarus will wheel out a pensioner's policy on Tuesday as he fights to retain his seat at Saturday's federal election.

Having already announced he will introduce lemon laws to protect new car buyers and car dealers, Mr Lazarus will announce a "Standing up for Pensioners" policy at Coorparoo RSL.

Analysts predict it's likely Senator Lazarus, who backs same-sex marriage, will be in a head-to-head battle with Pauline Hanson for the 12th and last Queensland senate seat.
