Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that damaged four Gold Coast buildings and took 13 crews to get under control.

Firefighters were called to the Biggera Waters industrial lot after 6pm on Wednesday.

No one was injured in the blaze, which caused the collapse of one building, partially damaged another, and left two more with smoke damage.
