Golden State destroy Rockets in Houston

The Golden State Warriors went into a hostile Houston Rockets arena and dominated to take a 3-0 lead in the NBA Western Conference Finals.

Just days after getting NBA All-Defensive honours Andrew Bogut showed he could also be potent on offence while sparking the Golden State Warriors to a big playoff victory.

The Warriors pummelled the Houston Rockets 115-80 on Saturday on the Texas team's home court to take a 3-0 Western Conference Finals lead, with one more win sending them to the NBA Finals.

Bogut scored 10 of his 12 points in the first six minutes of the game and 12 rebounds overall while battling All-Star centre Dwight Howard on both ends of the court.

Warriors' League MVP guard Stephen Curry was spectacular with 40 points.
