GPT hopes to list business park fund

GPT Group is planning to list its Metropolitan Office Fund, which owns $376m worth of business park properties, on the stock market.

Property giant GPT Group plans to list its Metropolitan Office Fund on the Australian stock market.

The fund owns various business park office properties in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane worth about $376 million.

Among the properties are offices within Sydney's Olympic Park complex, and the Optus Centre in Brisbane.

GPT expects to subscribe for at least 10 per cent of the fund's issued units.

The property giant said a final decision on whether to proceed with the listing was subject to market conditions.
