Gravestones vandalised in NSW cemetery

More than 30 gravestones have been pushed over, with some smashed, at a cemetery in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Dozens of gravestones have been damaged at a cemetery in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Police say 36 headstones were pushed over, with some smashed, at Sedgefield Cemetery near Singleton on Friday night.

A car was seen parked in the graveyard about 7pm. Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
