Greece dissolves parliament for election

Greece's parliament has been dissolved as voters get ready for a January 25 election.

Greece's parliament has been dissolved ahead of an early election warily watched by markets and international creditors concerned that the austerity-weary country could begin to undo fiscal reforms.

A statement from the chamber said the election will be held on January 25 and the new parliament will reconvene on February 5.
