Assistant Treasurer Josh Frydenberg believes there are "green shoots" across the economy despite the Reserve Bank cutting its economic growth forecasts.
The central bank cut its growth forecasts in its recent quarterly monetary policy statement, blaming slower population growth, but Mr Frydenberg says the government growth predictions are still within the RBA's new ranges.
"I think there are some good green shoots across the economy, and you would rather be here than anywhere else in the world," he told Sky News on Thursday.
