Cyclist Adam Yates has delivered Australian outfit Orica-GreenEDGE their sixth win in just eight days with an impressive victory in the Tour of Turkey in Istanbul.
Yates became the first British winner of the eight-day event, finishing five seconds ahead of Estonia's Rein Taaramae and France's Romain Hardy in third.
The 21-year-old had worn the leader's blue jersey since winning Friday's hilly sixth stage and held onto it for the remaining two legs to claim his first professional title on Sunday.
"We were never under any pressure but it was stressful," Yates said.
"I can't thank the team enough. Hopefully there is more like this to come."
His triumph capped off a very successful week for Orica-GreenEDGE, with Michael Albasini taking out three stages in the Tour of Romandie at the weekend and Australia's Simon Gerrans claiming an historic victory in the Liege-Bastogne-Liege one-day classic last week.
The wins take Orica-GreenEDGE's 2014 season tally to 17.
The Giro d'Italia is the next major event on the cycling calendar, which begins on May 9.
