Greens candidate's daughter threatened

A group of men went to a Tasmanian Greens candidate's home while he wasn't there, tore down signage and yelled at his teenage daughter.

A group of men tore down the signage of a Tasmanian Greens candidate and yelled at his 15-year-old daughter while he wasn't home.

Braddon candidate Scott Jordan said the men went to his house on Saturday night, two nights after British MP Jo Cox was shot in the street and police are investigating.

"Democracy should be passionate. It should be earnest. It should be contested with vigour. It should not be thugs in the dark terrifying a fifteen-year-old," Mr Jordan said on Facebook.
