Levi Greenwood is taking names; some of the biggest in the AFL.
Last week it was Richmond captain Trent Cotchin and on Friday night it was Geelong skipper Joel Selwood.
Both were tagged into submission by the Collingwood recruit, who is showing his abilities in his first run in the Magpies side.
A fractured leg delayed Greenwood's AFL introduction at the Magpies but his performances over the past fortnight have shown him to be worth the wait.
Coach Nathan Buckley said Greenwood was one of the few players to come out of their 91-point shellacking to the Tigers with credit after shutting down Cotchin.
And he was at it again on Friday night, reducing the inspirational Selwood to a passenger in Collingwood's 48-point defeat of the Cats.
Team-mate Alex Fasolo said the 26-year-old's efforts had earned him a few names as well.
"He's an animal," Fasolo told AAP.
"He's the definition of white line fever ... he's one of the nicest blokes in the world and an absolute pig on the field.
"He sets the standard around the club, he trains really hard and works really hard."
Buckley agreed, saying the former Kangaroo was "a contested ball animal".
"He hunts the ball, he hunts the man and he's really disciplined," Buckley said.
"We're getting a glimpse over the last couple of weeks of what we recruited and the character of a bloke that gives himself absolutely to the team cause."
