Greg Bird gets Super League ban for punch

The Catalans are two points below eighth-placed Huddersfield with just three games left of the regular season and in serious danger of being dragged into a relegation battle in the qualifiers.

Leigh centre Ben Crooks was handed a one-match ban and a fine after admitting punching during the game in Perpignan.
